Meet your dental team

Dr Pedram Negahban (DDS MJDF RCS (Eng), DipImpDent RCS (Eng))

Pedram is actively involved in Implant education. Over the years he has undertaken extensive training to become proficient in surgical procedures for all implant related oral surgery techniques, including Sinus Lift, guided bone regeneration and full mouth rehabilitations with fixed prosthesis. This allows him to restore the most complex cases, achieving predictable outcomes with the highest aesthetics.

Pedram is a member of the BDA (British Dental Association) and ITI (International Team for Implantology) and The Royal College of Surgeons of England and has a diploma degree in implant dentistry considered as gold standard in dental implantology.

Dr Srilaxmi Kapu

Dr Kapu graduated from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences in Andhra Pradesh, India and has practised dentistry for 6 years as a private dentist. During this time, she has gained an extensive range of experience and knowledge on dental procedures such as crowns, veneers, root canal treatment, composite fillings and routine dentistry to name a few. She then moved to the UK and successfully completed the UK Statutory exams in 2019.

For Srilaxmi, dentistry is a form of art not just science. She has also developed a special interest in cosmetic filling, whitening and aspiring to learn Invisalign aesthetic dentistry in the future. She strives to provide high quality care at all times to improve the well-being of her patients. She offers and enjoys building rapport by providing a gentle, calm and caring approach in a relaxed and a friendly environment. Dr Jad Elbenni

Dr. Jad Elbenni Dentist with Special interest in Prosthodontics, Dr. Jad completed his Master of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics from King’s College London and was awarded with the Membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh.

As part of his Clincal Masters, Dr. Jad had full-time placement at Guy’s and st Thomas’s Hospital from 2018-2022 as a Prosthodontics registrar, in which he has mostly treated toothwear cases, full mouth rehabilitations for severly destructed teeh, and replacements for edentulous patients with removable and fixed implants restorations.

Outside of Dentistry Dr. Jad was a competitive swimmer during his teenage years and worked as a private personal trainer whilst completing his bachelor’s degree in dentistry, he found passion in fitness and helping others in achieving their fitness goals, he’s still consistent with his training and finds leisure in lifting heavy stuff at the gym.

Dr Ani Ohanyan

Dr. Ani Ohanyan was qualified in the faculty of dentistry in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2012 where she worked for one year in the maxillofacial department dealing with surgical extractions. She moved to the UK in 2017 where she worked in different practices and she was always keen into providing exceptional care for her patients. She is always happy to treat children and patients with dental anxiety as she has completed a course for Paediatric dentistry for non specialist – UCL (University college London) and UCL Eastman Dental.

Among her qualifications are Invisalign Go, Botulinum toxin injections (muscle relaxation injections), Dermal Fillers and Composite bonding/Veneers. So any patients seeking cosmetic / aesthetic options get a holistic treatment approach for their smile.

From an early stage of her career she had a keen interest and aptitude for root canal treatments so currently she is doing her masters in Endodontics.

In her free time Ani enjoys fitness and weather permitting long trips with the motorbike.

Dr Beena Assani (Implant Dentist)

Dr Beena Assani joined the Smileright team in 2017.

Beena graduated with Honours from Guy’s King’s and St Thomas’ College London in 2008. She then completed a year as a Senior House Officer in Oral Maxillofacial surgery at Chase Farm and Barnet Hospital where she gained surgical skills and completed her Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty in 2009.

She has since worked in general practice and has over 13 years of experience. Her main interest lies in Implant dentistry. She has completed the Implant Certificate Course awarded by GIFT/Warwick University and currently undertaking the world-renowned Diploma of Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

She is committed to professional development and has a keen passion for restorative dentistry particularly conservative cosmetic dentistry and advance toothwear rehabilitation. She completed the prestigious Chris Orr – Advance Aesthetic and Restorative Course in 2011 and then furthered her skills completing the Chris Orr’s Advanced Occlusion course in 2018. She has experience in treating complex cases and loves to help patients gain confidence by changing their smile.

Outside of work Beena keeps busy raising two young girls and has a passion for travelling.

Dr Cristina Esteban

Dr Cristina Esteban qualified from University Alfonso X el Sabio in Spain in 2010 and after four years working as a General Dentist in the UK, she started a three years Master’s degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics at the University of UDIMA in Madrid which was completed with honours.

She has also successfully completed a Master’s in the most innovative invisible orthodontic techniques becoming a certified Invisalign provider. Cristina is also a specialist in Interceptive techniques for children, helping to correct the different types of malocclusions of the bones in short ages.

Dr Cristina is constantly attending conferences and courses to ensure that she always provides the latest techniques to her patients and can meet their individual expectations. She is a friendly but decided dentist who will always try to make the patient´s experience as easy as possible.

Cristina works as exclusive private Orthodontist in London and Brighton, treating children and adult patients, and she joined our team at Barbican and Basingstoke practices in 2018.

Farzad qualified with dual degrees, Masters in Pharmacy from Birmingham followed by dentistry qualification from University of Plymouth. Soon after graduation Farzad undertook MFDS RCS exam in Glasgow whilst obtaining work experience in a number of hospitals.

His passion for dentistry and providing bespoke treatment for his patients encouraged Farzad to undertake a number of post-graduate courses both in the United Kingdom and in the United States.

Farzad has undertaken a Masters level degree in Restorative dentistry, a certificate degree in dental Implants in Cambridge, and is currently completing his second Masters degree in dental implantology in the University of Bristol (UK), allowing him to provide more complex implant treatments.

Farzad has also completed numerous aesthetic dentistry courses worldwide and is a member of British societies of aesthetic and restorative dentistry. He has completed a large number of smile-makeover cases, using Invisalign treatment combined with edge bonding.

Dr Seulki Ihm

Seulki comes from a family of dentists in South Korea, his father, uncle, and brother all being dentists and are currently practicing.

He qualified as a dentist in Hungary in 2013 and had to join the Korean Air force due to conscription for 2 years. He then went to the USA to do postgraduate training in restorative dentistry at UCLA school of dentistry for 2 years and qualified as a dentist in the US.

Seulki came to the UK and started practicing with his brother in a private clinic in Cambridge and has recently moved to London yearning for a city life.

He is interested in further education in Endodontics (Root canal treatment) and has applied to King’s college London for a 3 year postgraduate training course for which he has been accepted. He will be studying alongside his clinical growth.

Away from his work and education, he enjoys family time, being married and having a daughter. He is fond of travelling and playing sports.
